The Town of Reading is accepting Sealed Bids for the Phase 4 Collection System Lining Project. The Base Bid work of this Contract includes furnishing and installing approximately 10,000 linear feet of 8-inch thru 20-inch cured-in-place pipe lining; preparatory cleaning of sewers; television inspection; testing and sealing of the first two joints of each service connection; bypass pumping; and all miscellaneous work and cleanup. The Base Bid work also includes bid items for spot repairs of sewer segments up to 10 linear feet that must be repaired before they can be CIPP lined and which may be identified during pre-inspection of sewer lines identified for CIPP.
