the City of Elgin, will receive sealed for Asphalt Street Repair Project. 1. Bid Requirements o Bids shall be made in accordance and fully comply with Solicitation for Bids Information for Bidders Bid Proposal 2. Asphalt Repair Requirements o Bid Price for Street reconstruction: 9,200 Square Yards o Bid Price for additional 6" of Aggregate Base thickness for repairs if authorized 300 Square Yards 3. Filing of Bids o Submit bids in sealed envelope marked "Proposal Asphalt Street Repair." No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Within sixty (60) days from the bid date, the owner may award a contract to the successful bidder or reject any or all bids for the project. o The City of Elgin reserves the right to award contract to the best bid. 4. City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
