The City of East Lansing is requesting qualified civil engineering consultants to submit proposals for performing survey, design, and construction inspection services for the Coolidge Road Rehabilitation project. The project is currently programmed in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to receive Surface Transportation - Urban funding and local agency funding to rehabilitate Coolidge Road between Saginaw Highway and Lake Lansing Road, a project length of approximately 1.27 miles. The rehabilitation work will include water main replacement, combined sewer replacement, and roadway replacement.The scope of work includes completing a topographic survey of existing conditions, drainage structure evaluations, design, preparing final plans, specifications, engineering estimate, coordination with MDOT, office tech administration, construction inspection of the project, and record drawings upon project completion.
