Pergola Restoration Project Project PW 2022-01 Description: The project entails restoring Libbey Park pergola located east of the post office and tower building. The restoration includes replacing all of the wood beams with same type, size, and color. Care must be taken to carefully remove the existing wisteria vines covering the pergola without cutting where feasible, and temporarily placed to the side of the work area, and reattached to the original location when restoration is complete. The existing stucco pillars are not a part of the restoration project, but may need minor touch-ups if the restoration chips the pillars. The project will take place within the City and the Caltrans right-of-way. The City is securing an encroachment permit for work within the Caltrans right-of-way. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a double permit with Caltrans. Work hours will be defined within the Caltrans approved permit and are anticipated to take place Monday Friday, from 7AM 5PM. Prevailing wage is required for this project.
