Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wittenberg, Wisconsin. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of October 6, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Perpetuation project of 24.0 centerline miles (total for EB and WB) STH 29 to repair joints and thin mill and overlay shoulders and intersection from CTH M in the Town of Belle Plaine to South Highline Road in the Town of Hartland in Shawano County. Mill and overlay the park and ride located off STH 117, and 8 culvert pipes (8203, 8214/8215, 8235, 8252, 8256, 8257, 8262, 8282) will be replaced or repaired, all delineators will be replaced or removed, all guardrail will be evaluated/replaced and automatic traffic recorder impacts reviewed. Anticipated Construction Cost: $14,000,000-$14,999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
