Renovation of an educational facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.
Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is seeking submittals from qualified contractors to complete HVAC and Control upgrades in Lowell Heiny Hall (LHH), the main administrative building on the Grand Junction campus. Scope of work includes 2nd and 3rd floors of Lowell Heiny Hall. The selected contractor will be required to demo the existing (118) 4-pipe fan coils and replace with one-for-one fashion with new hot water and chilled water 4-pipe fan coils. Each new fan coilwill require wireless room thermostat sensors along with new 3-way heating and chiller water control valves. The existing 8'' supply and 8'' return ductwork will be demolished and shall be replaced with new. All plenum sections will be removed and newly installed Sheetmetal supply and return plenums installed. Existing outside air louvers will be maintained, but contractor must provide new balancing dampers on the existing outside air duct. All required condensate piping shall be upgraded and routed from new condensate pumps. All existing 120/1/60 electrical connections shall be maintained and will serve new fan coil units.
