Contractor Pre-Qualification for Emeritus Hall Roofing and HVAC Modernization RFQ #1302 The Sonoma County Junior College District ("District") dba Santa Rosa Junior College ("SRJC") is prequalifying general contractors ("Contractors") who wish to submit proposals for the Emeritus Hall Roofing and HVAC Modernization Project ("Project"). Contractors must complete the prequalification questionnaire and submit an audited or reviewed financial statement and statement of qualifications (SOQ). The District will review the information and post a short list of the Contractors meeting the prequalification requirements. The eligible contractors will then be entitled to submit proposals for the Emeritus Hall Roofing and HVAC Modernization Project. A. The Project is defined as follows: Emeritus Hall Roofing and HVAC Modernization Construction Budget: $5,000,000, Schedule: November 2022 - November 2023 for Design & Construction. This project will be a Design Build Project. The project requires design, DSA approval and the phased construction of the existing roofing and HVAC equipment located at Emeritus Hall, a 48,000 SF building. There is no site development in this project. The existing roofing, roof top units, generator support frame, existing conduits including water, gas, electrical and boiler will be removed and replaced. The interior scope includes both remove and replace existing VAV boxes and related piping and existing T-stats. The DBE is to update all mechanical controls per energy standards and per SRJC mechanical standards. The acoustic ceiling tiles will be replaced as needed. Additionally, all new buildings shall be modeled to determine what the target Energy Use Intensity (EUI) is to achieve future ZNE (Source) performance. SOQ Proposals may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after submission date. An optional tutorial on how to use the electronic portal will be included. Sonoma County Junior College utilizes the college district portal and the Press Democrat portal for notification of solicitation opportunities. These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college district.
