Kentucky Community and Technical College System - Renovate Aviation Building Furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances and materials necessary for Renovate Aviation Building Madisonville CC, Kentucky Community & Technical College System, Central City, KY Interior remodeling of an existing 2,995 square feet Classroom facility. Work includes miscellaneous interior demolition of gypsum board partitions, ceilings, and demolition of mechanical, electrical and plumbing items. New construction includes creating two Classrooms and ancillary spaces. Construction of Toilets, Storage and a Lactation Rooms including, new hollow metal frames, wood doors and hardware. Work includes floor, ceiling and wall finishes. Installation of an all new ductwork, extensive plumbing work and electrical work All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT. ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SHALL BE EMAILED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
