The proposed improvements to be considered shall in general consist of a Base Bid and Alternatives 1, 2, and 3: Base Bid 1. Replacing approximately 180 LF of tile with 36 inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe and associated work items. 2. Replacing approximately 72 LF of tile with 12 inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe and associated work items. 3. Replacing approximately 3,000 LF of tile with perforated high density polyethylene pipe ranging in size from 24 inches to 12 inches in diameter and associated work items. 4. Replacing approximately 4,803 LF of tile with 36 inch diameter high density polyethylene pipe and associated work items. 5. Replacing approximately 20 LF of tile outlet with 20 LF of 48-inch diameter CMP outlet. 6. Trenching two (2) gravel road crossings. 7. Crushing and burying approximately 6,100 LF existing tile. 8. Making field tile connections and other associated work. 9. Approximately 32 hours of tile exploration Alternative 1 10. Replacing approximately 1,250 LF of tile with perforated high density polyethylene pipe ranging in size from 12 inches to 8 inches in diameter and associated work items. 11. Replacing approximately 5,650 LF of tile with perforated high density polyethylene pipe ranging in size from 24 inches to 6 inches in diameter and associated work items. 14. Completion Date: Oct. 31, 2023 All work and materials are to be in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications and proposed form of Contract now on file in the office of the County Auditor of Kossuth County, Iowa. 1. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 14 days after award of the project will receive a full refund. If they are not returned, or returned past the deadline, or are not in a reusable condition as judged by the Engineer, the deposit shall be forfeited. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "McClure Engineering Company".
