For Installation of 8 Fire Service at 16200 Illinois Avenue and 16236 Illinois Avenue Questions regarding the bid specifications should be directed to David Arellano, Water Supervisor at (562) 220-2020. 16220 Illinois Street o Cut in 8"MJ x 8"MJ x 8"FL tee fitting with 8" FL x MJ valve for a new fire service to be installed. Fire service lateral will be 8" Ductile Iron Pipe o Install a new 8" Derringer 30G DCDA backflow device w/ FDC, per drawings, with a blind flange on downstream 90 of the device. Remove and replace complete sidewalk panel. o Restore all construction area to existing conditions- asphalt, concrete, landscape, etc ... o Water main shutdown for tee fitting cut in will occur on a weekday at 5:00PM. o All work not requiring a water main shutdown to occur during normal weekday business hours o City of Paramount will not supply any materials for this project. o Traffic control for street construction to be in accordance to the WATCH manual 16236 Illinois Street o Cut in 8"MJ x 8"MJ x 8"FL tee fitting with 8" FL x MJ valve for a new fire service to be installed.
