Site work and paving for a civil project in Huntington, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work shall consist of the widening the asphalt travel lanes, guardrail removal, guardrail installation, and a compacted aggregate stone shoulder. The project length is approximately 3,860 linear feet of roadway. It will also consist of extending the existing 48-inch drainage culvert under Tipton Street. The Work is to be complete in 2023 with the Award for the project being issued in 2022. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Huntington County, Indiana. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations. The Huntington County, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
