Plans and specifications will be mailed as soon as possible after receipt of the request. Failure to obtain the project documents as described will result in a non-responsive bid. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in this bid packet, including insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond, Statement of bidder's Qualifications, Time of Completion, Addenda Acknowledgment, Form of Non-Collusion Affidavit, Property Tax Affidavit, government Business & funding Contracts, Twenty-Five Percent Guernsey County Resident Labor Utilization Goal, and Proposal Forms. Failure to complete the above forms and submit same at the bid opening will result in a non-responsive bid. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bond with an approved surety company as surety, in the sum of 100 percent of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract, or certified check for the amount of 10 percent of the bid on some solvent bank within the City of Cambridge, and made payable to the Director of Public Service, Cambridge, Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. ll questions pertaining to the project must be submitted in writing to the City Engineer at Camb-engdept@cambridgeoh.org no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
