**As of July 5, 2022 this project has been awarded to Shelly & Sands, Inc. with award amount of $311,003.33** Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in this bid packet, including insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond, Experience Statement, Time of Completion, Addenda Acknowledgment, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Personal Property Tax Affidavit, Homeland Security Form, Guernsey County 25% Requirement, and Proposal Forms. Failure to complete the above forms and submit same at the bid opening will result in a nonresponsive bid. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bond with an approved surety company as surety, in the sum of 100 percent of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract, or certified check for the amount of 10 percent of the bid on some solvent bank within the City of Cambridge, and made payable to the Director of Public Service, Cambridge, Ohio. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed by October 15, 2022. The estimated construction cost for PROJECT #22-02 is $349,044.00. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
