**As of June 8th, 2022 this project has been awarded to Kinsey Excavating & Trucking with award amount of $447,906.21** The work under this improvement consists of everything necessary to complete the project as shown by the project plans and specifications for said items on file in the office of the City Engineer, 814 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in this bid packet, including insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond, Experience Statement, Time of Completion, Addenda Acknowledgment, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Personal Property Tax Affidavit, Homeland Security Form, Guernsey County 25% Requirement, and Proposal Forms. Failure to complete the above forms and submit same at the bid opening will result in a non-responsive bid. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bond with an approved surety company as surety, in the sum of 100 percent of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract, or certified check for the amount of 10 percent of the bid on some solvent bank within the City of Cambridge, and made payable to the Director of Public Service, Cambridge, Ohio. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed by September 1, 2022. The Contractor shall not proceed with the Work until approval is granted by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Guernsey County and the City of Cambridge, Ohio as determined by Ohio Department of Industrial Relations wage rates. All questions pertaining to the project must be submitted in writing to the City Engineer no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
