Dry Creek Ecological Design and Riparian Project. The Village of Walbridge owns a 34.2-acre parcel, east of the intersection of Walbridge Road in East Broadway in northeast Wood County. The parcel is wholly in the Village and the Village plans to retain ownership of the parcel. The parcel abuts Dry Creek, a tributary of Cedar Creek. The parcel includes approximately 0.28 linear miles of stream available for widening or conversion to a two-stage channel design, as well as lowland areas where the stream channel may be rerouted and new wetlands constructed. Specific restoration options will be explored to measure effectiveness and cost-efficiency of each treatment before completing the detailed designs for the restoration project. Letters of Interest shall include, but are not limited to, information regarding the firm's project approach, firm's plan for managing and performing the work, list of personnel who will be assigned to the project along with background information and technical expertise, firm's availability of assigned staff, a minimum of two references from governmental agencies and a timeline detailing anticipated completion of the work. Firms that have not previously submitted a statement of qualifications for 2022 shall include it with their letter of interest. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
