This section includes a description of the work to include the planting of trees, shrubs, live stakes, and the seeding of native seed mixtures for the Dry Creek Ecological Design and Riparian Project for Maumee AOC (CeC-6.0). 1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. In general, the work for the Dry Creek Ecological Design and Riparian Project consists of the restoration and vegetation planting of 0.7-acre of riparian floodplain with native wetland seed mix and native woody plants, stabilization of 1,500 linear feet of Dry Creek streambank, and restoration of 8.25 acres of upland prairie with a native seed mix. The work also includes the blending and placement of topsoil, temporary seeding, as necessary, installation of project sign, control of invasive species and other related work. B. The objective of this project is to restore the floodplain area and the streambanks of Dry Creek to a more natural and stable condition. C.
