Site work for a water / sewer project in Walbridge, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of replacement of water main identified by the District along East Union Street between Dixon Street and Martendale Place in Walbridge, Ohio. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, containing the names of every person or company interested. Each bid must be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid with satisfactory corporate surety, or by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid, subject to conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. The contractor is required to pay not less than the prevailing state wage rates established by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder may withdraw a bid within 90 days after the bid opening. All questions shall be submitted by e-mail to Theodore A. Bennett, P.E. at Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd. at 3103 Executive Parkway, Suite 300, Toledo, OH 43606, Infra@jheng.com, no later than May 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, in order to receive a response.
