The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Installation of approximately 2,900 linear feet of 8-inch DIP sanitary sewer main, 15 concrete manholes, and related PVC sewer laterals. Installation of the sewer will also include related saw cut, demolition, and patching of the streets in the project area. The last day for contractor questions is Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 210 days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 240 days from the date of commencement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond completed on the attached Bid Bond Form with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or cash in equal amount.
