In general, the project consists of an interior renovation to the Bayport Public Library. This is the second and final bid pack being solicited. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Form in accordance with the Work Categories outlined in the bid documents. Acceptance of bids via facsimile or email is noted in the bid documents. Physical attendance will not be allowed. This bid back will consist of demo, rough/finish carpentry, casework/countertops, structural steel, caulk, frame, doors, hardware, coiling doors, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, tile, ACT, resilient flooring, carpet, finishing, paint, interior signage, window treatments, toilet accessories, fire extinguishers, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, LV, and fire alarm. By submitting a bid, the contractor is committing all necessary resources to meet milestone dates and achieve substantial completion of construction as stated in the contract documents at the bid price quoted regardless of weather conditions. Construction to start August 1, 2022. Bidders are also accepting the terms of Market & Johnsons standard contract, including insurance and indemnification requirements and payment terms. You may not attach your quote, any clarifications or exclusions to the contract. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of the proposals without consent of the Owner.
