Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Iron Mountain Public Schools District will receive sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) Packets for the following facilities: North Elementary 900 5th St Iron Mountain, MI 49801 Central Middle School Addition 217 W. Hughitt St Iron Mountain, MI 49801 Izzo-Mariucci Athletic Center 217 Izzo-Mariucci Way Iron Mountain, MI 49801 IM-K Community Schools 800 E. E St Iron Mountain, MI 49801 The Request for Proposal includes several sections within each building. Vendors may elect to bid on a minimum of one project section to a maximum of all of the project sections, listed below. Vendors will be selected individually for each individual section. North Elementary School- Project Section 1- Exterior Doorways Central Middle School Addition- Project Section 1- Exterior Doorways Project Section 2- Vestibules Izzo-Mariucci Athletic Center- Project Section 1- Exterior Doorways Project Section 2- Vestibules IM-K Community Schools Building- Project Section 1- Exterior Doorways Project Section 2- Vestibules Vendors will be required to sign in. Immediately following the meeting, a guided tour and inspection of the project sites will be conducted. Note that vendors will be touring the following buildings: the Izzo Mariucci Athletic Center, Central Middle School Addition Building, IM-K Community Schools Building (the former East Elementary building), and North Elementary. In the event of inclement weather and the District schools are closed, the Pre-bid meeting will be rescheduled. Please refer to the District website for further information about the Pre-Bid meeting. The Iron Mountain Public Schools District (referred to as IMPS) is looking to upgrade its security equipment throughout the school district. These upgrades will be paid for in part by the Michigan State Police Competitive School Safety Grant Program, pending final approval from the Michigan State Police. IMPS is seeking proposals for four buildings which have security equipment components in need of repair or replacement. The Project Sections portion of this RFP contains the projects being included in this RFP
