Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Room must have three ceiling recessed, tab tensioned front projection screens with low-voltage controls in 16:9 or 16:10 format. Screen size should be determined by the bidding vendor based on maximum allowable width in the room and a maximum bottom screen height of approximately 6 feet from floor. Screens must be controllable from a central AV processor (Crestron) as well as three separate low-voltage wall plate switch controls. Preferred manufacturer: Draper Room must have three large venue laser projectors. Substitutions may be accepted depending on availability and must not be lower than allowable lumens level. Proper lumens level should be determined at the walkthrough by the bidding vendors. Light levels may be taken during the walkthrough but may not fully represent final ambient light in the room, as the overhead room lighting has not been installed. Preferred manufacturer: Epson Projectors and screens should be controllable through the AV system's (Crestron) touchscreen controls. Any questions associated with this request should be directed to the district Director of Technology, Vance Gregory. Questions should be made in writing to vgregory@fortsmithschools.org. System must include four commercial grade displays no less than 86" diagonal. There are two large support columns in the room and it is preferred that at least two 86" displays be mounted on each column to face the back of the room. These two displays should duplicate the left projector and center projector on one column, and the right projector and center projector on the other column. These large displays should also have independent power on/off to allow end user control when not in use. System should include a ceiling mounted PTZ camera in the center/back of the room pointed towards the presenter area of the room while also avoiding view of the 86" displays and columns where possible. The HDMI video output of the camera should go into a vendor provided Extron SMP 351 (or current equivalent) to provide simultaneous streaming and recording. The Extron SMP 351 dual-channel streaming device should allow one audio input from the mixer/DSP to send all audio from the system to the recording/streaming device. Customer can configure recording and streaming settings of the Extron SMP 351 once video connectivity is established. USB output of the camera should go to a wall plate so that a USB cable can be run from the camera's USB output to a laptop. PTZ must provide simultaneous output to both HDMI and USB. Audio microphone on the camera is not necessary as the wireless microphones in the system should be output from the DSP to the Extron SMP 351. Preferred manufacturer: Vaddio System should include one Blu-Ray player for video playback.
