Site work for a road / highway in Wolf Point, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
As of Sept 6 the project the project was awarded to HighMark Traffic Services Inc for 455,616.50. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control and incidentals necessary to apply epoxy pavement markings per contract information. Contractor shall replace the existing stripes in kind unless otherwise directed by the Maintenance Chief. Where centerline rumble strips are present, the surface of the rumble strip will have a grind per Table 1, Section 1.0. Contract Information. The bottom portion of the rumble strip will be cleaned, dry, and free of debris prior to striping application. Contractor will not be allowed to use water blasting to clean. If current words and/or symbols have shadowing, the shadowing must be completely removed and replaced with words and or symbols that conform to current detailed drawings. Shadowing is defined as a word/ and or symbol having multiple visible letter(s) from previous applications. Removal will be by heavy grind or by a method approved in writing by the Maintenance Chief or their designee. Acceptance of any words and/or symbols that do not conform to current detailed drawings must be approved in advance, in writing by the Maintenance Chief or their designee. This work consists of furnishing surface preparation and applying epoxy pavement lines, words and symbols shown in this contract or as directed in writing by the Maintenance Chief.
