No definite date for the rebid.** The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement; minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Alcorn County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal. For Bidders submitting bids electronically, the bond submitted must be either a bond issued by the Surety in electronic format or the original hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors, 305 South Fulton Drive, Corinth, Mississippi prior to bid opening in order for the bid to be valid. The entire PROPOSAL is required to be turned in for both paper and electronic bid submission. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom PLANS AND PROPOSALS have been issued by the LSBP Engineer, and whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by the LSBP Engineer. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
