Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 18,300-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; laboratory facility; and laboratory facility.
All successful proposals will subcontract or receive purchase orders directly with RCS Construction, Inc. for the work to be performed. Subcontract and purchase order templates that will be used for the project are included in the bid documents. There currently is not a pre-bid meeting scheduled but bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to bid. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. No bid bond or performance and payment bond required. Each bid package should be submitted in separate envelopes and clearly marked on the envelope identifying the project name, the bid package being submitted, and bidders name (see sample envelope included with specifications). Bids will be opened publicly at the bid time. The project consists of approximately 18,300 SF of new construction of a Career and Technology Education Building in Hot Springs, SD. New construction is a pre-engineered metal building along with minor remodel of existing space, site development and demolition of an existing structure. Davis Bacon Wage Rates and Reporting requirements apply to this project. The Owner shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids or proposals.
