Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Gautier, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of construction of the construction of a nanofiltration water treatment plant, site improvements, and all related appurtenances as shown in the Bid Documents. A Bid Bond or a Certified Cashiers Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. The total Contract Time will be 245 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $500 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Gautier hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises/woman business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the City of Gautier reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
