The work for Contract 22-IG consists of the installation of approximately 100 LE total lineal feet of new 24-inch diameter Ductile Iron waterline by open cut excavation: installation of a new precast concrete vault that will house two (2) 24" gate valves, one (I) 24" Cla-Val Pressure Reducing Valve, and a sump pump: a tee connection to an existing drain line inside the existing pressure reducing valve vault at the base of the washwater tank: a connection to the existing 36" Ductile Iron tank discharge line; cutting of the 20" backwash water inlet to Filters I through 4 to allow the installation of a new 20" butterfly valve and actuator assembly; and all other items listed in the Bidders Proposal. Contractor is responsible for the coordination of soft digs around underground electric lines and other utilities that are potential crossings for the new waterline and new conduit. Contractor is responsible for the coordination of the delegated design for temporary excavation, sheeting and shoring when installing the pre-cast concrete chamber. Contractor responsible for coordinating a representative of Cla-Val to assist with start-up of the new valve and adjusting the settings with the valve. The work for Contract 22-IE consists of. but is not limited to. provision of two (2) new 11.4- PVC conduits from the high service building to the existing altitude valve pit location, provision of one (I) new 2P/I 00A bleaker in the existing high service panelboard with three (3) Al2 and one (I) N8 GND to the new 10OA panelboard mounted at the existing altitude valve pit location, provision of two (2) new receptacles inside the existing pit and two (2) in the proposed PRV pit for heat trace and space heater, provision of a flood alarm in the existing pit and the new PRV pit and tie both back into the chlorine PLC for SCADA, provision of two (2) I V:" conduits from the new panel J-box to the new pit 1-box, provision of one (I) receptacle inside the proposed pit for the sump pump. provision of two (2) new light fixtures inside the proposed pit. and Contractor to reconnect existing power and/or signal wiring.
