Site work and paving for a civil project in Spring City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Project generally consists of constructing approximately 900feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe water main and approximately 1,000feet of 2-inch schedule 40 PVC sanitary sewer low-pressure force main. Approximately 240 feet of both mains will be installed on an existing bridge. Work under this project will include new pipe supports and hangers, pavement replacement, thrust restraint, expansion joints, fittings, valves, connection to an existing manhole and removal of approximately 240 feet of existing 2-inch water main bridge crossing. The project also consists of the development, implementation and maintenance of stormwater erosion and sediment control best management practices to comply with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation General Permit Number TRN100000. The work will be awarded in one Prime Contract The Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Contract Agreement, Drawings, Specifications and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following Spring City Municipal Building. Call prior to picking up documents to ensure availability. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding Documents including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
