Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Osceola, Wisconsin. Design plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Osceola Bridge Project The Hwy 243 bridge will be replaced. Additional needs for the project include accommodations for people walking and biking, and drainage improvements. The project team will consider bridge alternatives that include bike and pedestrian accommodations. The sensitive environmental constraints on both the Minnesota and Wisconsin road approaches will also be taken into consideration as these changes are evaluated. Eight concepts are under consideration for the Highway 243/Osceola Bridge. Engineer Goodman reported that the timeline for the project is: Preliminary design (2021-2023), Final design (2023-2024) Anticipated construction for the project is for 2026-2027.
