The work consists of sealcoating a surface area of approximately 26,000 square yards of Village streets and approximately 11,000 linear feet of pavement marking. Alternate bid for fog sealing a surface area of approximately 26,000 square yards. The Work also includes traffic control, street sweeping, and clean up. Completion Date: Sept. 22, 2023 The intent of the contract is to state the roles and obligations of the Village and contractor regarding the construction, execution, and completion of the work. Perform the work as the contract specifies. 1.02 STREET LOCATIONS A. Improvements are planned for the streets as identified on Bid Form and associated drawing, which is subject to change as conditions may warrant. The streets within the scope of the project as well as their dimensions are as follows: a. Willow Lane Length of 898 feet and Width of 30 feet. b. 10TH Avenue Length of 1,109 feet and Width of 36 feet. c. Middle School Drive Length of 951 and Width of 36 feet. d. Oak Ridge Drive Length of 1,056 feet and Width of 28 feet. e. Education Drive Length of 2,957 and Width of 35 feet. It is the intent of the Village to perform work on all the streets identified; however, budget limitations may require a reduction. The Village reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity in any amount without a change to other unit prices per street section.
