Plowing of sidewalks to permit the public to walk. Contractors will have the sidewalks clean of the snow no later than 3 (three) hours after the snow plow has gone through. The Contractor will monitor the weather and clean as necessary during the day, with the depth of the snow reaches a maximum depth of 7.5 cm. The Contractor may be required to apply salt to the walkways when ice is present. At all other times the application of sand. The Contractor may be required to remove snow when directed to do so by the Municipality. This contract shall cover snow and ice removal operations for a one (1) year period from December 1, 2022 to April 15, 2023. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel and request for tender at any time, without recourse by the Contractor. The Municipality has the right to not award this work for any reason, including choosing to complete the work with the own forces.
