Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Hunter River, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the following: 1. Site work including mobilization, demobilization, excavation, demolition and removals, hauling and disposal onsite or offsite as required. The supply and deployment of silt curtains as required to suit the environmental permits. 2. Survey required to set location and elevation of new work as indicated on the drawings. 3. The supply and installation of steel sheet and pipe piles, FRP wrap system, rock fill, structural fill, Class "A" gravel, geotextile filter fabric, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete elements, rough carpentry components, all miscellaneous metals (including curbs), and ladders/holdfasts. 4. Removals as noted in .1 above will include significant quantities of treated timber and pilings which will require handling, transport, and disposal at an approved Provincial waste management facility. 5. Installation of connections between new and existing work as detailed on the drawings is also involved in this work. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.117982.002 forming part of the bid document.
