Town of Lewiston Columbia County, Wisconsin Notice: REQUEST FOR ROAD BID The Town of Lewiston, Columbia County is seeking sealed bids for the following town road: Clean, tack, and the installation of 1 1/2" hot mix asphalt wedge and a 1 1/2" overlay with 1.5' lime stone shoulders on Klappstein Road beginning at State Highway 127 and proceeding toward State Highway 16, approximately 5100 feet by 21 feet wide, ending where the 2021 pavement project ended. The bid shall include price per ton of asphalt for the wedge layer, for the overlay layer and limestone, the amount of tons for each needed for the project, and the total project cost. Weight tickets will be required. The Town of Lewiston reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process and to accept the bid proposal or portion of bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town. Successful bidders must furnish certificate of liability and Workman's Comp Insurance.
