Estimate Range - $750,000 - $999,999 Unless otherwise specified in this advertisement, the Department will issue bidding proposals only to those who have established their qualifications for the work to be bid upon. Any prospective bidder who has not established their qualifications must file a sworn statement with the Department not less than TEN business days prior to the time set for submitting bidding proposals on a form furnished by the Department. The Department will evaluate this statement and will issue bidding proposals as it deems warranted. To request an exception to this requirement, contact the Chief Proposal Management Engineer at (608) 266-3721 With each sealed proposal, the bidder must include a properly executed bid bond or a cashiers check, certified check, bank check, or postal money order in the amount designated on the Highway Work Proposal made payable to the Department. Certified checks shall be drawn on the account of the bidder submitting the proposal. The bidder may also satisfy the proposal guaranty requirements by having a properly executed annual bid bond on file with the Department.
