The work generally consists of the full depth removal of the existing 40 feet wide taxiway E and the reconstruction of a 50 feet wide taxiway in place and a taxiway connector stub to tie-in to the apron connector. The project will include pavement marking and the relocation / replacement of taxiway lighting. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after bid opening for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days. Attendance by prospective Contractors is encouraged. A site visit will be conducted at the conclusion of the conference.
