Landmark Construction is requesting SUBCONTRACT BIDS for the Jefferson Union HSD for the New Adult Education & District Office Lease-Leaseback Project Demo and Mobilization Bid Package Only This Bid Package includes site clearing and demolition of existing park, sports court and clubhouse building, as well as temporary facilities. Refer to the bid documents for the complete scope and requirements. This work is anticipated to start late July 2022. This project requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce under Education Code section 17407.5 and Public Contract Code section 2601. Education Code Section 17407.5 requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce, as defined by Public Contract Code section 2601, by subcontractors at every tier, to perform work which falls within an apprenticeable occupation in the building and construction trades. Labor Code Section 1725.5 requires all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects to annually register and pay a fee to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for purposes of monitoring and enforcing compliance with the State's prevailing wage law All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids on public works projects must be registered.
