Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Collegedale, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Collegedale is seeking bids for the installation of approximately 15,000 square feet of a six (6) to ten (10) foot wide concrete greenway sidewalk at locations further identified in these contract specifications. Incidental work shall include, but not be limited to, pedestrian safety railings, retaining walls and drainage modifications. This is an estimated amount, and final quantities may differ. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities specified. The project covers the site preparation, forming and installation of a concrete greenway sidewalk and other miscellaneous construction as shown on the plans attached to these specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Site preparation/excavation 2. Installation of retaining walls where required 3. Removal and installation of various drainage infrastructure 4. Installation of 5" thick concrete sidewalk 5. Construction of ADA ramps 6. Installation of long-life thermoplastic striping Bidders must comply with all Local, State and Federal requirements for bidding, construction or installation of the work All work shall be performed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. No blocking or impeding of traffic for the work will be allowed. All Safety requirements as described in TOHSA handbooks is required. No waiver of any terms or provisions of this agreement shall be valid unless such waiver is in writing signed by the party making such waiver. This provision is specifically intended to invoke the operation of Tennessee Code Annotated Section 47-50-112(c). The Owner may consider informal any bids and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Any bids received after the opening shall not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City has the right to refuse any and all bids.
