Renovation of a municipal facility in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project is a proposed fourth phase to the downtown Façade Improvement Program, to include approximately eight (8) to ten (10) façades located in the 500-600 block of High Avenue West, on the western edge of downtown. Phase IV will pursue a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (application to be submitted July 2023). Additional funding is proposed to include $364,500 in city TIF funds and $225,000 in property owner contributions. The total project cost is estimated at $1.1 million. The project is included in the city's 2022-2027 capital improvement plan (CIP). As of November 1, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
