Bids Are Invited on a Lump Sum Basis for Either of the Following Contracts: Contract 1 - Asbestos Abatement and Hazardous Material Removal at John Fitch Elementary School, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and George Washington Elementary School Contract 2 - Demolition of John Fitch Elementary School, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and George Washington Elementary School . A Certified Check, Certified Bank Treasurer's Check, Certified Bank Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the Form Included With the Bidding Documents. If Bid Security Is Provided in the Form of a Bid Bond, a Satisfactory Corporate Surety Shall Provide Security in an Amount Equal to 10% of the Base Bid Together With the Aggregate Sum of All Additive Alternates. The Surety Shall Name as Payee or Obligee the Bristol Township School District. Notice Is Hereby Given That This Work at John Fitch Elementary School, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and George Washington Elementary School for Which Proposals Are Being Solicited, Are Construction Projects Constructed by a Public Entity Constituting Public Works and Is Subject to Applicable Provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates and Other Applicable Acts. All Proposals Shall Be Irrevocable for Sixty (60) Days After Bid Opening Date, Unless Delayed Due to Required Approvals of Another Governmental Agency, Sale of Bonds, or the Award of a Grant or Grants, in Which Case Bids Shall Be Irrevocable for One Hundred Twenty (120) Days.
