he City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified, experienced and licensed firm(s), hereinafter referred to as the Contractor or Bidder, to provide Janitorial Services for the City, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Awarded firm shall have experience cleaning facilities of approximately 70,000 square feet in the state of Florida. Awarded firm shall have experience working with facilities that operate on a 24/7 basis. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL Awarded firm shall dedicate six (6) full-time employees to the janitorial needs of the Police Department PRICES QUOTED Deduct any discount offered and quote firm net unit prices. In the case of a discrepancy in computing the amount of the bid, the unit price quoted will govern. All prices quoted shall be F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid (Bidder pays and bears freight charges, Bidder owns goods in transit and files any claims), unless otherwise stated in Special Conditions. Each item must be bid separately. No attempt shall be made to tie any item or items contained in the ITB with any other business with the City. All questions must be submitted in writing through the BidSync questions and answers section. The entire Bid must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to Bidders contained in this solicitation. BidSync will charge no fee on awards made by the City of Fort Lauderdale.
