Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility; and educational facility.
Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under LS R.S.37:2150- 2163 for the classification of Building Construction. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. Evidence of authority to submit the bid shall be required in accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (B) (2), (5) and/or LA. R.S. 39:1594 (C) (4). Bid may also be submitted by electronic means via website Free registration is required in order to submit a bid via the Central Bidding website. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as permitted by LA. R.S. 38:2214 (B). The ability of an entity to reject any bid is applicable only when administered in accordance with the Public Bid Law. In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (B) (1), the provisions and requirements of this section, and those stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any public entity.
