Notice is hereby given that the City of Holly Hill, Florida is accepting bids for: ITB# 22-WA-01 CHLORINE CANOPY REPLACEMENT Description of Work: The City of Holly Hill is requesting bids for the demolition of existing steel structure and corrugated asbestos cement sheet roof used for storing and handling chlorine gas at the Water Treatment Plant. Construction of new galvanized steel canopy structure with corrugated metal roof. The new overhead crane will include a motorized chain hoist and motorized trolley to assist in moving chlorine cylinders. Work also includes relocation of scale instrumentation, coatings repair on scale components, and replacement of electrical conduit for power supply to overhead crane and scale. The ITB contains construction plans approved by the City. CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO UTILIZE A LICENSED ASBESTOS CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE THE ROOF PANELS PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. Copies of the bid documents may be obtained electronically from VendorLink. Any addenda to these bid documents will be posted on the VendorLink website. It is the bidder s responsibility to confirm that all addenda have been received prior to submitting a bid for this project. All bidders are required to complete and submit the Public Entity Crime Sworn Statement , Form #PUR 7068, as designated by Florida Statutes, Section 287.133(3)(a), with their bids. The City of Holly Hill is not responsible for the U.S. mail or private carriers or messengers in regard to mail being delivered by the specified time so that a bid can be considered. No bids received after the time and date specified for the opening will be considered. The City of Holly Hill, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all non-substantial irregularity in bids reviewed, whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the City.
