Based on a recent water modeling report the existing system currently has limited storage capacity. An elevated storage tank is needed near the Belfast Keller and I-95 area. The City is requesting design services from qualified design professionals for the design of a 750,000 to 1,000,000 gallon elevated water tank approximately 150' high. Services will include full assessment of the existing conditions and potential site of the Project, the total design of the Project based on the firm's full assessment and findings, permitting, preparation of construction plans, prepare all documentation and processes required to bid the Project for construction, contract administration, construction management and observation and closeout of the Project. This project will include all necessary pumps, piping, equipment, enclosures, site work, utility and drainage improvements, and landscaping requirements associated with the project. Questions pertaining to this RFQ must be made in writing and received no later than 11:00 A.M., July 6th, 2022. No responses will be given to questions received after that time. The City reserves the right to reject the SOQ of a Firm who has previously failed to perform properly or complete on time contracts of a similar nature, whom investigation shows is not in a position to perform the contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
