Biosolids Digester Facilities - T-07.14: Exterior Skin Systems Supply and Installation This work will be performed at the Southeast Treatment Plant. This is an operating wastewater plant with extensive above- and below-grade infrastructure that must remain in continuous operation at all times. A brief description of the Scope of works This package includes the supply and installation of all glazing, curtain wall, skylight, and storefront assemblies interior and exterior for facility 615. Facility 615 is a 3-storey structure (approx. 39,000 sq ft) including channel glazing at the east and west stairwells, Storefront on the south side and windows on all sides. All aluminum window fins are included in this scope of work. All transom glazing embedded in door frames will be installed by others. Also included is all automatic doors, operators, actuators, and pedestals that fall within any storefront I glazing assembly. Additionally, please include all necessary and/or called out air barriers, membranes, caulking, and flashing for all glazing, curtain wall, and storefront assemblies interior and exterior for B615. Excludes electrical raceways and conduits required for automatic door assemblies (by others). Applicants who pre-qualify as Bidders are required to seek, and are encouraged to use, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for their subcontracting and procurement needs. These requirements apply to all subcontracts for equipment, supplies, construction, and services. The SFPUC has adopted the following Fair Share Objectives for participation of DBEs in this SRF funded project. These are projectwide participation goals that the Contractor may seek to meet: 5.6% MBE 1.2% WBE . *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
