Renovation of a multi-residential development in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade multi-residential development.

Reference number : 1618167 Review Title : Partial repair of the envelope and ventilation works Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-07-07 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for partial repair work on the envelope and ventilation at Habitations Beaudry located at 1815-1825, rue Beaudry in the Ville-Marie borough in Montreal. The project consists of carrying out all work in accordance with the contract documents. Without limitation, the scope of work includes: Complete replacement of exterior doors and windows with Energy Star certified components ; Partial repair of masonry, repointing, cleaning and replacement of damaged brick; Patching and sealing cracks in concrete foundation walls; Replacement of bridging and railings on all balconies, anti-rust treatment of the structure and installation of soffits; The replacement of the four (4) canopies of the building; The installation of new kitchen hoods in all dwellings and the installation of new exhaust ducts and wall outlets in all dwellings; The replacement of bathroom fans; Cleaning the dryer's ventilation and exhaust ducts; Replacement of the intercom system; Repair of interior lighting in stairwells; The replacement of the first part of the steps and the standardization of the height and spacing of the guardrails in the four (4) stairwells; The replacement of ceramic tiles on the ground floor of the main entrances and exit stairs. The work will be carried out in a three (3) storey building comprising a total of fifteen (15) family dwellings. The building affected by the work is block D located at 1815-1825, rue Beaudry. During the works, the apartments will be occupied. Works duration According to current planning, work is expected to begin around August 2022 , but this date could be changed by the OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify a request for an extra from the successful bidder. The work must be carried out within a maximum period of 12 consecutive months from the date confirmed for the start of the work in the letter of engagement.
