Address questions about this solicitation to Adam Redgrave at adam.redgrave@usda.gov. The purpose of this contract action is to mitigate the asbestos-containing material (ACM) identified in the attached asbestos inspection reports in preparation for demolition activities. Abatement activities will include the removal of all asbestos containing material - both friable and non-friable - from structures and other miscellaneous items. The Pitkin and Summit County landfills will not accept any ACM for disposal. All ACM must be removed from National Forest System lands for off-site disposal at a State approved disposal facility. See attachment titled 1240LQ22Q0018 Forestwide Asbestos Abatement for the full solicitation. Please note that a new attachment was uploaded on 6/27 titled Previous Mitigation Work Burke Martin Site. This attachment shows the extent of previous mitigation work done on the Burke Martin site as mentioned in the solicitation.
