The City of Cape Coral (City) Office of Capital Improvements is seeking Construction Manager at Risk services for a Wastewater Master Pump Station (MPS). The City has selected Tetra Tech as the professional engineering firm for design services and expect the awardee to work closely with them in the completion of this project. The design of MPS 720 is currently at the 90% design completion stage. The CMAR project will require review of design documents, permitting coordination, construction, testing and acceptance of the new Master Pump Station. The selected CMAR will perform a constructability and value engineering review of the existing design and make recommendations for improvements for evaluation by the City. The CMAR will also perform a review of the materials proposed for the project and evaluate the availability of the items proposed. The goal of this process will be to minimize the use of long lead items that would unnecessarily delay the construction project. The City also desires to optimize the square footage and footprint of the pump station building and adjacent ancillary facilities. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. Master Pump Station 720 - Located at 2109 Andalusia Blvd, on the east side of Andalusia Blvd south of Kismet Pkwy. Legal description of the MPS 720 site - "A parcel of land situated in the State of Florida, County of Lee, City of Cape Coral, being a part of Section 31, Township 43 South, Range 24 East; and further described as follows: Cape Coral Unit 32, Block 2171, Plat Book 16, Page 8, Lots 17 through 19. Parcel contains 0.39 Acres, or 16,830 square feet, more or less. Potential Future Master Pump Station 725 - Located at 1937/1941 NE 15th Lane, on the north side of NE 15th Lane east of Del Prado Blvd. (See Exhibits "A" & "B").
