Question Deadline 07/12/2022 at 4:00 PM MT The scope of this project is to replace existing rooftop Unit, diffusers, and air curtains. New work includes Installation of destratification fans. Electrical work to Be limited to replacement and installation of mechanical Equipment. Proposal Guaranty in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of said proposal, conditioned that in event of failure of the Principal to execute the Contract Agreement for such construction and furnish required Payment and Performance Bonds if the Contract is awarded him, that said sum be paid immediately to the Obligee as liquidated damages and not as penalty for the Principals failure to perform. The Proposal Guaranty submitted with your proposal will be returned upon execution of the Contract Agreement and the furnishing of the Payment and Performance Bonds. In the event you should fail to execute the Contract Agreement and furnish the Payment and Performance Bonds within the time specified, said Proposal Guaranty will be retained by said City as liquidated damages and not as penalty, for the delay and extra work caused thereby.
