Site work for a water / sewer project in New Iberia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 11, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction, shall be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. No hard copy sets of contract documents will be provided for bidding and/or construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security (certified check, cashier's check or bid bond with power of attorney for an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Money orders and/ or company checks will not be acceptable. Such security will be no less than 5% of the net amount bid, excluding taxes. Once the notice to proceed is issued, the project must be substantially completed in 365 DAYS (12 Months). Rain delay days will NOT be accepted. Liquidated damages are $300.00 per calendar day. The City of New Iberia reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with LA R.S. 382214. If there are any questions regarding bidding procedures, contact Paul J.
