Sealed bids delivered to any other Iberia Parish Government location prior to the bid receipt deadline will not be considered. This project consists of furnishing all supervision, labour, equipment, and materials necessary to install an aluminium water control structure with flap gates in Jefferson Canal and all other incidental work at the above referenced location within Iberia Parish. Proposed installation of two water control structures. Approx. 4,462 cy of native material will be excavated (3,462 cy placed onsite and 1,000 cy hauled offsite) and approx. 297 cy of rock will be required for fill. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond acceptable to the Owner in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed for the classification of Heavy Construction. Questions about this procedure shall be directed to the Architect/Engineer.
