**As of September 14, 2022, project was awarded to Mountain Valley Contractors Inc, awarded amount is $896,023.50.** Montrose County is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of Chipeta Road and Highway 550. A 5% bid security is required with the bid as outlined in C.R.S. 24-105-201. Any bid questions must be received by 5 pm local time, July 21, 2022 A payment and performance bond equal to 100% of the bid amount will be required as outlined in C.R.S. 38-26-106 and the contract agreement for the successful bidder.
